He hails from a mountainous village in the Manaslu-region in the Gorkha district. He began his career in tourism at the age of 23 as a company owner. He got the Nepal Government Trekking and Tour operating  license in 2017. He has more than 10 years of experience in tourism field as a Managing Director. He has trekking experience in the Manaslu region, Annapurna region, Everest region, and Langtang region. He established his own trekking company Snow Bank Adventure Pvt.Ltd(https://www.snowbankadventure.com/) in 2016.
